the spot.

Having opened in 2014, Gjusta started as a commissary kitchen providing bread and other assorted products for Gjelina Group’s other restaurants, Gjelina and GTA. Over the years of growing popularity, Gjusta has grown into the successful California deli, bakery, café, and market it is today. During its busier hours, ticketed counter service and what almost feels like shoulder to shoulder patrons make the place feel very NYC deli-esque. Once you’ve entered, you’re quickly greeted by a long extended deli bar displaying everything from freshly baked bread and pastry items to fresh fish and meats.

the menu.

You’ll find market items like fresh produce and free-range, cage-free eggs in addition to their daily restaurant breakfast and lunch menu. Almost all of their fresh produce is sourced directly from SoCal farmers, in addition to most of their meat and seafood coming from local ranchers, fishermen, and co-ops. With market-driven seasonal food, the menu, space, and offerings change as they go, evolving with the seasons and the needs of the neighborhood.

With the deli case and ticketed counter service taking up a good portion of the indoor space, the seating is all outside in their several patios, covered patio options included.
