Craving Mexican food in Los Angeles is a hard battle to fight. With the best taco trucks all over the city, it’s way too accessible to stuff yourself with all the el pastor tacos your heart could desire. When having to say no every third time you walk past that taco truck on the corner of your street starts to get hard, that’s when Gracias Madre comes in to save the day.

100% plant based and organic, Gracias Madre serves up the best of Mexican food in vegetarian versions. You’ll find dishes like the enchiladas verdes, with tomatillo, zucchini, avocado, potato, cashew crema, black beans and the Falutas de Camote with sweet potatoes, caramelized onion, guacamole, cashew nacho cheese, black beans. The freshest spin on Momma’s kitchen in Mexico.

The restaurant was inspired by the actual mothers they have met in Mexico, the families of their co workers, working hard in the kitchen to prepare an authentic Mexican cuisine experience. With love and admiration of these brave women, the name Gracias Madre, “Thank you Mom” was birthed. Inspired by some of the recipes of these families and the love of their mothers, Gracias Madre serves organic, farm fresh, locally sourced food, full of flavor and love.

The interior is gorgeous with a theme reminiscent to upscale Mexico, and a gorgeous patio bar and courtyard, perfect for a summer night or a crisp fall evening outdoors.

Join them for happy hour (la hora felid to be exact) on the patio bar weekdays from 3-6pm
