Macrames and Rose Cafe

I've never met a hanging macrame plant holder I didn't like. Throw in a fully loaded bar and you've got the most picturesque setting for a night out, or even a quick drink at the bar. Having been around for 40 years, it's only fitting to describe Rose Cafe as iconic, trendy, and approachable. As the times have changed so has the menu, but the charm of this cafe has remained untouched.

An open floor plan greets as you walk in, to the left is the fully loaded bar with those delightful hanging macramés we like so much and just beyond the bar is a small patio with great vibes during the day and night. Directly in front of you is a strategically placed bakery, displaying all those goodies your LA diet cannot afford you. And finally, to the right are a few tables inside, and a patio just beyond that, where most of the dining happens. Greenery, patio lights, and that warm summery feel is where most of the Rose Cafe magic happens.

As Venice has evolved, so has the iconic cafe, but not to the compromise of it's patrons. With beet hummus and burrata toast, just two examples of the brunch menu, you can see the creativity that's woven throughout their menu.

The competition for dinner spots in LA is fierce and though our love for all the aesthetic of Rose Cafe is strong, dinner here may not be our number one pick. Rose Cafe does a lot of good things, so don't be disheartened by our lack of interest in their dinner menu. We would just point you to their brunch or their bar because.... look at those hanging macramés!
