After 5 years of serving Mediterranean cuisine in a breezy and light filled small plate spot, the owners of Gran Blanco, and nearby Great White, transformed the menu and interior into a darker, moodier Asian fusion restaurant with Japanese izakaya influence. Unable to set themselves apart for similar cocktail lounges nearby like the likes of Belle’s Beach House, the change has helped Gran Blanco stand out in this lively beachfront neighborhood.

A simple, seafood leaning food menu includes dishes like the Yellowtail Ceviche served with wonton chips, lemon zest, microgreens, and yuzu vinaigretteand and the Salmon Wonton Tacos served with ora king salmon, avocado, chives, and serrano. You’ll also find a classic burger and fries for the non seafood loving crowd. Drinks include speciality cocktails and natural wines, with kind of beer.

The cocktail lounge opens Monday through Saturday at 5pm, and 2pm on Sundays. Reserve through Resy, large groups and space rentals available.
