Opened in 2012 by husband and wife duo, Chef Ori Menashe and Genevieve Gergis, Bestia hit the LA scene with a bang becoming an overnight success. Matching its surroundings in the Arts District with an industrial aesthetic and a nod to modern-day Italian spaces, the restaurant integrates the idea of having a contemporary interior in a century-old building.

the menu.

The multi-regional rustic Italian menu, takes a ‘from-scratch’ approach, making handmade pastas and pizzas in house. Split into 5 categories, the menu consists of a small selection of curated starters, pizzas, pasta, entrees, and desserts. Creativity and innovation collide in these classic dishes with a spin like the Sage & Mortadella pizza made with parmigiano reggiano, caciocavallo, aged balsamic and the Cavatelli Alla Norcina pasta made with ricotta dumplings, fresh thyme, shaved black truffes, and pork sausage

the deets.

Sister restaurant to Bavel, Bestia is the Italian restaurant and the first of the two to catapult the husband and wife duo into culinary success. Thoughtfully curated menus paired with equally excellent design of a once abandoned warehouse turned industrial chic restaurant make for an exceptional experience.
