The Lincoln
“Never judge a book by its cover” - a saying I use quite often but rarely for actual books. Did the person who created that sentence know we’d never actually use it for books? Like for example, Lincoln, off Washington and Lincoln in Venice, the exterior looks like you’re about to walk into an auto repair shop or garage. Fittingly so, as the street is lined with similar exteriors that do reflect what you’d imagine to be happening inside. But once you’ve passed through the small door (with bouncer in tact) you quickly see how different the interior is and how you designing your own home after it’s floor plan might be the sexiest thing ever.
