Another sweet sidewalk cafe before COVID made sidewalk cafes a popular thing with dining restrictions. The perfect little brunch spot, before COVID, Huckleberry Cafe was always poppin on the weekends and the lunch hour. A line out the back door and most every spot filled inside the cafe. Fresh pastries, baked goods and seasonal breakfast & lunch menu, you’ll also find baking boxes and family meals to go as well.

The place is popular so be ready for a wait if you’re going peak hours. Maybe it’s the cozy corner market feel, or the fact the owner wrote a cook book, or that the owners met and fell in love at Rustic Canyon, another restaurant local to Santa Monica. Loyalty to shopping local is big in Santa Monica and Huckleberry Cafe is just one example of Santa Monica’s commitment to local businesses.
