Library Bar

If you talk to most New Yorker's they'll tell you of the love affair they have with the city. Kathleen Kelly in You've Got Mail, Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City. The list goes on of the people who've memorialized their love for the big apple on the silver and small screen. Though you don't have to hear it from a fictional character, I've got personal friends who come from NYC and still reminiscent of their love affair.

Our downtown doesn't quite live up to the skyscrapers of NYC, but there are parts to it that make you feel like you've cozied yourself right into a corner bar of NYC. The Library Bar is one such bar. The space opens up to a library scene on one side, and the bar itself and an additional small area of seating on the other. The library scene is complete with a wall of books on shelves, a fireplace, and armchairs and couches. Happy hour is 3-7 daily and the pork belly skewers are must try. The Gold Rush is the perfect blend of sweet and tart.
